INTERACTIVE MAPS OF PROPERTY FOR SALE
ON THE SUNSHINE COAST OF BRITISH COLUMBIA NOW AVAILABLE
SECHELT, BC, CANADA — July 12, 2006 — Sunshine Coast real estate professional Gary Little has just published on the Internet a useful group of interactive maps showing the locations of over 400 homes for sale in Gibsons, Roberts Creek, Sechelt, Halfmoon Bay, Pender Harbour, and neighbouring areas. These maps allow easy access to information on property for sale in one of the hottest real estate markets in British Columbia. The Sunshine Coast is a 40-minute ferry trip from West Vancouver.
These maps are the first of their kind for Sunshine Coast properties.
The property maps, which integrate satellite imagery and street maps, can be used to quickly locate homes for sale in areas of interest and to learn more about a home simply by clicking a marker on the map to bring up an information window. This window shows the address of the property, the price, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, a brief description, as well as other helpful information.
"Using these maps can save buyers huge amounts of time as they hunt for their perfect home," notes Gary. "It's simply more efficient and intuitive to locate property on a map rather than plowing through long lists of properties for sale. A quick glance at the map reveals everything for sale in a given neighbourhood."
The interactive property maps of the Sunshine Coast may be used free of charge and can be viewed at map.GaryLittle.ca. The maps are updated daily.
The mapping software was created by Gary Little himself using several advanced tools, notably the mapping infrastructure provided by Google, Inc. of Mountain View, Calif. The maps can be viewed with most modern Web browsers.
